Leanne Love, AIA, NCARB
Architect
Leanne joined BDA in the fall of 2020 after moving to the Eugene area from Denver, CO. Having recently worked on a senior living community, she was excited to see the innovative work that BDA is doing in senior and affordable housing. During her seven years in Colorado, she had the opportunity to work on a wide range of residential and commercial projects, both renovation and new construction.
Prior to calling Denver home, Leanne spent five years in Chicago, IL where she focused on large-scale healthcare work. Healthcare architecture engrained the importance of both the functional and experiential qualities of every space; attention to detail throughout each project phase was also essential. These principles continue to guide Leanne through every project.
While in Chicago, she took part in designing, planning and constructing a Guiness World Record—the largest structure ever built from canned food. The build involved 308,448 canned food items and 450 volunteers. The CANstruction project was a memorable and exhausting experience!
Leanne graduated from the Fay Jones School of Architecture at the University of Arkansas with her Bachelor of Architecture in 2007. She is a licensed architect in both Oregon and Colorado.
Now that Leanne and her husband have relocated to his home state of Oregon, they are thrilled to have family nearby again. They enjoy exploring this beautiful area by foot, skis, bikes and/or packrafts!
