PEOPLE
BDA is, and always has been, small by design. Rather than growing the size of the firm in an effort to widen the diversity of project types, we have deliberately chosen to focus on affordable housing with a strong group of dedicated individuals. The majority of staff are licensed Architects. Our focus allows every member of the firm to have a depth of experience in affordable housing, and our size allows us to retain that knowledgeable staff through varying economic cycles.
Our vision is to ensure staff members have the knowledge and experience to contribute to all phases of every project. Because everyone is engaged in the same work, staff are able to move fluidly between projects as schedules and deadlines demand. This also allows Mike Magee and Amanda Donofrio, Principals of BDA, to always stay intimately involved in projects so that the partner clients meet when choosing to work with BDA, are available and active in projects from kick off through completion.
